She started ranting about her gay friend and calling him slurs. The guy agreed with what she said. I stopped watching after that.

Some parts of the movie seem a little unrealistic, but the plot twists are probably the best I have ever seen

A great balance between action, drama, and romance. This is the movie that would appeal to most people. The CGI was a lot better and I was very impressed with the vampire running scenes. They no longer had that weird trail like some kind of Tron light cycle. The action was really well done too. The acting was so refined. In previous movies, the characters seemed like they were either overacting or underacting. In this movie, everything seemed passionate, but reserved enough to be believable. The writing was basically perfect in this movie, and it showed in so many ways. The first movie has great romance but was rough. The second movie has no romance but was interesting. Nothing was too dominant, but everything was there. The pacing in this movie is very tight and well done. The second movie drags on a bit sometimes and some scenes felt kinda lame. More characters felt useful. In previous movies, some characters faded into the background or didn't have a purpose. We finally get to hear more back stories and see how these characters contribute to the main plot. Dad, Mom, Jasper, Rosalie, etc. It feels like the world is deepening without growing too fast and adding unnecessary characters, which I love. This movie also felt more like a book. It included tasteful narration and compelling dialogue. Most importantly, this movie made a lot of sense. The previous movies had a lot left to be explained, but it seems that this time they kept track of everything and made sure tie up any loose ends. The execution was excellent.
