Aida Haslum Hovden

This is one of my favorite shows of all time and the reason I got into anime. I love how it is so serious and so goofy at the same time, such a perfect balance. The characters are top tier too, and the rivalry between L and light is some of the best fiction I have watched. I don’t care that people hate on the second half of the show, I love all of it and enjoyed the whole thing as much the third time watching.

To be honest, I wish I liked this show better, but it just didn’t hit with me like I expected. Maybe because I used so long to finish, and tok way too long breaks between each watch, but I felt like non of the characters stuck with me and there just wasn’t a lot going on in the story. I’m also pissed they never made a season 3 because from the manga, that is the most interesting plot of the whole series.

Very entertaining show, but not so original

Definitely is worth the hype and is one of the best anime’s ever made. That guy was a literary genius.
