Scarface

I caught the tail end of this at a friends house a while back and was taken aback by what I was watching. The colors, the music, the framing, the over-the-top action. it was all so perfect.  that only became more true when I watched the full thing. This film is the blueprint for what these types of films should be. It’s clear there was an incredible amount of care that went into every aspect of this thing.  one of my favorite soundtracks ever, Beautiful portrait-like shots and a laundry list of iconic film moments. i love it. add me to the infinitely long list of straight white dudes who love this movie
