Pulp Fiction
I really need to try that Jimmie coffee.
Pulp Fiction is such an iconic movie. For some reason when discussing Tarantino’s filmography everyone always just kind of skips over this one. Of course they give it praise but they just don’t truly give it the flowers it deserves. Now yes, I am aware of all the film bro stuff about this movie. But frankly I don’t care. This movie is a masterpiece.
For starters, the stories tie together very well in my opinion. Of course, some parts are left unchecked but they come back together seamlessly. And each of the stories are very well crafted. In the beginning of the movie characters and plots are kinda just thrown at you. The movie then slowly picks them up and puts them into the story.
Speaking of the characters they are all done very well. There are a lot of them so it’s easy to get confused at first but again, the story and movie ties them all together. Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta have amazing chemistry together. Bruce Willis does amazing in his part of the story. And of course Tarantino getting to say the N-word a bunch so it’s all well and good.
Overall, this movie is so iconic with many scenes and moments that just make it work. Definitely in my top 3 for Tarantino films.
