The Batman

I watched this movie in theaters, that was when I was never into Superhero movies. I came into this excited but also not knowing much about. I left amazed. Rewatching it was even better. After watching a bunch more Batman and Superhero movies in general, this movie perfectly portrays Batman. I can confidently say this is one of if not the greatest superhero movies of all time. Matt Reeves perfectly portrayed Gotham City in this movie. The dark streets, the nightlife, and the crimes are exactly how imagine Gotham in real life. Robert Pattison... I have never seen a better batman in any movie. I understand people want to say Christian Bale. Personally I see Christian Bale as a better Bruce Wayne rather than batman. That is also the same with Pattison as I see him as a better batman. He plays this so perfectly and it's shocking to realize that people initially didn't like him playing this role. Paul Dano is such an underrated actor and this performance proved that point even more. He plays a creepy unsettling villain so well. And he takes a completely different portrayal of the riddler and I love it. Riddler is great as a weird goofy villain but this movie makes him a sort of a serial killer. It's honestly incredible how scary he honestly is. And the rest of this cast, Zoe Kravitz, Colin Ferrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, and John Turturro perform amazingly. My hope is for the sequel to be as good if not better than this movie. Which will honestly be hard for how well this movie was made.
