This is why I love movies. It felt so rewarding to watch this movie after reading the book and seeing everything I imagined come to life. Ryan Gosling is truly one of my favorite actors. I think it's time to call him one of the best actors of this generation and even an all-timer. I was just smiling throughout the entirety of this movie, it felt so beautiful almost a child-like experience of discovery. Visually Project Hail Mary is on a different level, I was blown by some of the scenes, very striking and vivid. The only thing that maybe people have a problem with is that they didn't show enough of what was at the stakes like in the book. But for me the positives just overweight the negatives entirely.
