Frankenstein
I have so much to say, i just dont know where to begin...
I didn't read the book yet so i can't say anything about book accuracy. But DAMN it was good. The casting was at it's finest, could not have done better. All the Artistic parts its had, meaning the secret references to different paintings throughout history. Although this movie broke me, for example the fact Victor took the time to create his monster, just to treat him like his father treated him, passing on generational trauma, even though he is not technically his son, or the tear scars on his face in the first scene he appears, it's an incredibly made for the eyes of the person watching. Honestly didn't expect to even like a Jacob Elordi character but damn i adored his character so much, i just want to give him a hug. Apart from my obvious heartbreak, I need to say you definitely realise that the director del Toro wanted this since childood, concidering the amount of work, art and details he put in this movie, begging to be acknowledged. I dont have enough words to explain how much i loved this movie, so im gonna end it at that, but I WILL rewatch this today.
