Shutter
Shutter also uses flashbacks to make the story clear (I watched Alone 2007 first before). And it seems the filmmakers like to make story whose cause is love. Yup, this is also because of love, and also about a revenge. But I like the most when after the climax, I thought the story was over, it turns out there is still terror that hasn't ended and a story that must be revealed. Surprised me indeed. I also like the jumpscares that are presented. Very creative, surprising and thrilling. Especially with the concept media using camera, this movie presents some cool treatments. I really enjoyed it. Moreover, the scene where Tun is terrorized in his photo studio, then the lights go out, with the treatment of camera shots that suddenly snap itself. That's so creepy, yet amazing. But the transitions between scenes imo are too sudden and feel so weird and not smooth. It's not perfect, but it's a good start to the directors' first movie.
