The Shining

Fucken terrifying. For the ax scene, I had to have my phone light on to be able to continue bc I was so scared of being jump scared.  Jack Nicholson is a complete psychopath, my man has mastered the elements of a possessed killer. The kid scared me too with his expressions far out. And don’t forget Duvall, it’s written all over her face 😱😱 And my god, the terror piece of the film was magnified greatly by the chilling soundtrack. Goodness me, the impact of the score on the film may be the biggest I’ve ever seen. For 1980, this would have been a massive achievement in film. I applaud you, Kubrick 👏
