If you wanna know how messed up society can be, society pushed to its limits watch oldboy Oldboy felt like the longest and shortest 2 hours. This film is overwhelming but a fucking great film, it has some of the best dialogue of any film and some of the best pacing. Oldboy has one of the best stories it puts you on a psychological ride and to the end when you think its already at it's most fucked up it even gets more fucked up. I almost started crying when the big reveal happened, and thats not of joy thats how disturbed I was, Plus the amazing performances made it more disturbing. The themes of the film are how messed up and blind society can be and the weight of our actions and how far society goes to find out the truth then proceed to go very far in coping. This felt like a Fincher film The score and the cinematography. If you want to watch a great film and be disturbed watch Oldboy but if you wanna watch a great film that dosent disturb you don't watch Oldboy.
