Lady Bird
Fuck money, especially capitalism, there's three people working and they're still barely making ends meet. And I get how stressful it is, but making your child feel like a burden and unloved/unliked is not ok, it should be a crime. This movie really captured the relationship between her and her mom incredibly well, so real.
Lady bird is sush a teenager, just changing who she is so she's more accepted, so that she gets to hang out with the populars. Fuck that. Not being yourself is horrible, it just harms you. You're trapped inside a character you've built, and you can't get out, cus then people will treat you differently, you won't be normal. Fuck that, and seriously fuck nonchalance.
"But do you like me?"
"I'm so sorry I wanted more"
"Does mom hate me?"
The shot of the nun with the flames, was a fucking masterpiece.
This was worth not studying fq.
