Rope

It’s crazy to me how a relatively simple script can at the same time be one of the strongest screenplays in cinematic history, at least in my opinion.  Alfred Hitchcock’s Rope is nothing short of a masterpiece of suspense. I was glued to the edge of my seat from beginning to end and could not get enough of the exquisite performances, specially Farley Granger’s work as Phillip. Relatively simple at first glance but deep and thorough when taking a closer look.  Great movie. Easily one of my all time favorites from now on.
