True story:  In 7th grade my English teacher had us read the short story this was based on, then another day she had us watch this movie in class. This was an all boys religious school, mind you. So in the final scene, everyone went crazy and she turned it off and said “I thought you guys would be more mature”. She then tried to say that she meant to play us a censored version, which was bs because she told us to not tell the principal we were watching this movie at first.
