Inside Out 2
"I relate to this sequel more than the first on"
The animation is still top notch.
But the most important that they do best in this movie, it's bringing more nuanced emotions and how they portrayed them with new concepts on how the brain works.
The focus being Anxiety with being a teen. Of course everyone is different but I think a large majority can relate to the situations in this movie.
And Anxiety is not the only one learning things here, Joy is too.
The all beliefs system being introduced to us as it makes us who we are, which is very true, but throughout the movie we understand that Joy was also in the wrong for trying to change and choose what Riley should be like Anxiety by chosing to throw away "bad" memories.
Mistakes are who you are, they make you learn from them, they make you who you are gonna become. They are a part of you, good or bad. That's what builds your beliefs.
Also a sad truth that I related to a lot.
"Anxiety was right a part of growing up is a feel less Joy."
I do agree that it is sad but it touched me in a certain way.
Anyways the movie is lovely.
