Obsession

Haven't been scared like this in a long time, stressed, anxious, paranoid, shocked even a roller coaster of a movie. First, I admire the new talents in this movie, especially the actress, what an amazing performance, truly terrifying in a good way. Second, the camera work and lights with the angles are insane, truly transforming the actress on screen. Now, I hesitated so much to see that movie because heard so highly of it, i didn't want to be disappointed but now I dont regret it at all. I want to see more of that director in the future, even more impressed when I know he was just a YouTuber from what I heard. To finish, this reality horror story is so well done, the obsession in this movie is pushed to the extreme point but that's what makes it terrifying because it could happen. The worst is people saying they wanna a girl like Nikki, well no surprise here they are mostly men, who didn't look further into the story and the characters. Bear is the one who created all of it, for selfish reasons, lied, manipulated, hurt the people around him and victimised himself into it like it wasn't his fault and all that to cause his own death. And yeah you can say he didn't think the wish would work but who decides for a other person how they should feel, the wish is just the consequence of that. He idolized her from the very start we know how he feels about her. "I cant stop thinking about you, whatever i do" Its sutle, I agree but its what the movie was about... **Obsession, it just takes many forms. **
