Tangled
*Flower gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine

everyone who knows me knows how much i love this movie
i adore it in a way that feels personal, like the movie quietly rearranged something in my heart and never put it back the same way.
Tangled feels warm the colors are soft but glowing, especially the golden light of Rapunzel’s hair, everything looks like its painted with hope for me, the lanterns floating in the night sky, all of it feels alive, not just visually beautiful, but emotionally alive.
Rapunzel is one of the most beautifully written characters in Disney history. kind, curious, talented, awkward, brave, and scared all at once (and i feel like she’s so much like me) she isn’t fearless, she is afraid, but she chooses to step outside anyway, watching her leave the tower for the first time, feeling guilt and freedom at the same time, hits harder than it should and that scene captures what growing up feels like, wanting more, then feeling terrible for wanting more, then realizing you’re allowed to want a life of your own.
and the songs…. deserves its own space in my heart… i love every songs on here so much it actually hurts… its soft, almost whispered, like a lullaby wrapped in magic???? and irt feels gentle, which is pure magic, just glowing and honest
storyline is simple, but meaningful about freedom, identity, and love
this movie changed my world because it reminded me that it’s okay to want more, to dream, to leave the “tower” even when it’s scary. taught me that finding yourself can be messy and emotional, but it’s worth it
Tangled feels like comfort and courage at the same time
and everytime i watch it, it feels like coming home and leaving home all over again
