A generic gangster movie that’s actually a nice time travel movie that’s actually a really cute romcom that’s actually a very funny bro-dude friendship comedy.

The Inglorious Bastards parody is one of the funniest gags I’ve seen in a movie like this. Welcome back stoner comedies, I kinda missed you.

I really wished to love this film. Great nasty body horror and the child actors (plus The grandma) are really great, but the structure is very lackluster. It’s ironic that this movie’s title highlights its director when it’s probably the movie with most production tampering in his filmography.

Fuck it, better than the first one in every conceivable way. Radio Silence just have the sauce. They know how to expand and enrich a story without bloating or adding too many elements, keeping the pace tight, the script precise and letting their actors go wild. Seeing what Samara Weaving does in the third act of this is the closest I have ever been to God. Also shoutout to Kathryn Newton who is always at the top of her game, especially with Radio Silence, and to her biceps that make her look like an amazon (I wish she would unleash her strength on me to do unholy things with them).
