Full Metal Jacket

i LOVE kubricks style and how he makes eveything so fucking creepy, the scenes where pyle and the vietnamese girl die provoke this crazy sense of un comfort and it elevates the movie so much, it’s reminding you how terryfying war is, it’s not romanticizing it. i like jokers message about the duality of man but his character could’ve went through a more interesting story arc. side characters are likeable and funny. pretty solid movie
