i enjoyed it, solid movie . allan is very me LMAO i think this movie has a lot to say, and it says it well! for a movie thats centrally comedic it conveyed its point well and even educated the audience. after this movie was released, i think the outright love or hate is indicative of that. however, and this isnt the movies fault really, i did expect more in depth about the subject of patriarchy and sexism. from the outlash it caused, i was expecting a lot more quote on quote "man hating" also, the soundtrack was fucking AMAZING!!! every song was the right fit whether that be tonally or lyrically. i think you can tell that with how some of the songs from it are still trending online, even months later to add, i love the communities reaction to this film, as it really made womanhood as a whole a more discussed topic. plus the wearing pink, barbieheimer and "hi barbie!!" was definitely super fun :) anddd the casting was fucking perfect. i cannot imagine someone else as ken other then ryan gosling LMAO and every actor in the film was so believable, immersive and generally pretty great. i sound a bit like a nerd lmaooo but really i like this film a lot. not one of my favourites, but man is it fucking good
