Whiplash

The suspense this movie induces in me is like no other. I love the spiral that is Andrew’s arc, where in his pursuit of “greatness,” he ends up becoming someone unrecognizable to anyone. I love J.K. Simmons and Miles Teller, but I gotta give credit to Paul Reiser. His face acting in those final seconds of that movie, where it goes from pride to horror, fully encapsulates Andrew’s arc, and it impresses me every time I rewatch this movie.
