X-Men: First Class

So I decided to watch the X-Men movies for the first time, and I didn’t really know where to start. In cases of a series that jumps around the timeline(s) a lot, I like to watch them in chronological order according to the timeline (I know this isn’t a popular opinion.)  Because this was my first real experience with the franchise, my opinion and review of this movie doesn’t carry much weight to me, but I’ll give it anyway. I felt that the beginning was kind of slow, jumping all over the place, and hard to follow. Once it got to the main plot, however, I was sucked in and it was an amazing watch. I think I should have watched the original trilogy first so I can understand the universe better, though. The star the I subtracted from its score is because of the slow, hard-to-understand beginning, but I don’t hold that against the movie completely. I think if I watched the original trilogy I would like this movie more as a rewatch.
