Atonement

oh.my.gosh. this movie is amazing, first of all very beautiful settings, cinematic. second of all Robbie and Cecilia. they didn’t get to spend the rest of their life together like they should’ve because of that stupid girl, Briony. the whole thing started because of a vase. then the troublesome twins ran off and Lola got raped, I KNEW WHO DID IT. I knew it wasn’t Robbie. also how could Robbie have done it if he went far and found the twins. the thing that really aggravates me is that nothing ever happened to Paul Marshall, he married Lola and lived a long life. if onlyyyy Briony didn’t jump to conclusions about who she thought it was. she was ended up remembering and seeing the face of the man who did it. the ending absolutely crushed me I thought maybe Robbie would die since he was in the war but NO both of them did which crushed me twice as bad. and Briony didn’t even go visit her sister at all. when I found out that it was made up and Robbie and Cecilia didn’t even get to see each other after the war end do cried so much.
