Beautiful.  A film full of horror and terrible sights, yet it looked beautiful. The cinematography of this film is what made it so amazing. The story was also great for the most part. I was so enthralled in it that I almost forgot that there weren’t any cuts until an obvious one occurred. The story has a perfect balance of conflict and reward, high stakes that actually feel high, and excellent character development though just the acting. Would’ve liked to see more done with musical themes and motifs to help take the weight off the actor’s shoulders when it comes to scenes with little dialogue. This film, taking place over 100 years ago couldn’t be more relevant with the issues involving a potential war.
