Michael
This is incredible honestly, Jaafar Jackson was incredible like he needs that Oscar nomination, in biopics it’s not very often you watch it and struggle to tell the difference between the real person and the actor playing them but in this it’s genuinely tuff to tell the difference, especially in the music performance and you genuinely look at it and go is that Micheal or Jaafar, he genuinely deserves all the praise he’s getting for this. Coleman Domingo is great aswell he portrayed Joe Jackson incredibly well, it wouldn’t surprise me if he gets nominated for best supporting actor in next years award season. Juliano Valdi is great aswell as young Micheal, he danced incredibly well, I hope he gets the chance to act more because he could become something really special. The musical performances are absolutely incredible, human nature, working day and night, and bad are by far the best performances, especially workin day and night because he told Joe to get to fuck and let him be Micheal Jackson, the cinematography and the colouring of the film are amazing like especially the music scenes they are filmed so well. I love the scenes with him reading Peter Pan, that really gave us more of an insight into what he was like and he was just a kid at heart and just wanted a childhood. I struggle to see the critics problems with it. Overall, it can easily be one of the best biopics made about a musician, they nailed the looks and the performances and they really did a great job at honouring the legacy of Micheal Jackson, I really look forward to the sequel.
