A lot going on in this one, but it's worth all the hype. Truly an amazing film that will change your perspective on life. Life is what you make it and you have the power to forge your own destiny.
I can't say enough about how much I loved this one. Heart-wrenching. Beautiful. I wish it was talked about more.
Arguably the greatest animated film of all time (in my opinion). You don't even have to be a Marvel/Spider-Man/superhero fan to love this one.
In my eyes, this one rivals Spider-Verse for greatest animated film. Beautiful story, stunning animation. A must-watch for sure.
Soul was hit or miss for a lot of people, but I love it. Just thinking about the movie's message is making me tear up. Really good for when you're in a rut and unsure of your future and purpose in life.
Classic movie. An uncomfortable watch 50+ years after its initial release but I think that speaks to the timelessness of its themes and discussions about race.
Spike Lee has a very distinct filmmaking style that first-time watchers can marvel at. Again, themes about race are prevalent and I think it raises discussions about sensitive, worldly topics.
If you love suspense and watching high-anxiety situations, Whiplash is for you. I don't know if I would call it life-changing, but I can promise that after watching it all you can say is, "Wow."
If you love slice-of-life stories with no heavy plot, this is a great movie. Great performances all around, especially Willem Dafoe.
Another one of my favorite animated movies. I love the setting, time period, all of it. A heartfelt story about a boy and a massive alien robot.
Very musical-heavy but still an entertaining watch. The songs and choreography are one-of-a-kind, and the story is great too.
