Moonlight
This was such a powerful and moving film. I think it’s one of those films one should reflect on, so once I’ve done that I’ll give it a proper review.
Edit:
Here’s my proper review: Initially I was like I don’t get the hype, this is just really sad and depressing but even then, the acting, the grittiness of the story, the cinematography and imagery was groundbreaking, I have to say the last chapter made it for me. So beautifully sad. I honestly had no idea how it was going to end given the heaviness of what was shown throughout and my god it was satisfying, that’s all I’ll say.
The acting again, phenomenal, especially from the last actor! The way he just slipped back into that character was fantastically done.
Very much worth the watch.
