Submarine

the characters are odd, the humour is awkward, the plot veers towards boring, there’s a lack of action, and it’s just kind of weird. it contains all the elements of a terrible movie but it isn’t. it’s strangely comforting, enjoyable, unique, and unexpectedly funny.  plus, alex turner did a phenomenal job on the soundtrack.
