Adolescence
I should have done better.
Never will I recover from this. The perception of modern society and how younger people act in film is either extremely glamorized or is just over dramatic, but this show has done it absolutely perfectly. The acting in every episode blew me away, and the fact that there are no cuts is just unbelievable. Episode three is one I will never forget, the details and writing is SO insane. Social media has completely fucked up the lives of so many people. Not only does it leave you constantly comparing yourself to others, it can ruin you as a person. What it has done to men, especially young boys is sickening but there is nothing that anyone can do about it now. This was not just a show, but a wake up call to the reality that we live in today. Stephen Graham’s performance in this has reminded what the love for cinema feels like. (Special shout out to him just because of the ending even though every single actor did a fucking amazing job) I hope we never move on from this story and that it forever gets the praise it deserves.
