Raising Helen
not really sure why I am giving this movie 4 1/2 stars but that’s what my gut is just telling me to do. I watched this movie for the first time 15 years ago and I couldn’t really remembered what happened but just remembered that I kinda liked it so I decided to watch again. this is def not the best romcom (even though it’s not much of a romcom) but there’s just something comforting about this movie and just hits you right in the heart. it has the most 2000 cast you can think of and Joan Cusack always has me rolling on the floor. I also have some beef with Abigial Breslin and just hate anything she’s in but, shockingly, she didn’t ruin this movie for me and that says a lot
