“Wuthering Heights”

AMAZING 10/10 TEWWW GOOD!!!! Listen if you want the book…read the book! Cus this ain’t that. Which I guess could be disappointing for some, but it’s an adaptation, it’s gonna be different. If you make the same film every time, its gonna get boring!!! The cinematography in this was beautiful. I wanna ride a horse through the moors! I also love love loved the use of colour. So much meaning, so much red. love…anger…danger. And the outfits and hair soooooooooo good. I don’t care if it’s not ‘historically accurate’ it was vibesss. AND THE MUSIC. AND THE ACTING!!!! Also Jacob Elordi is sooo fine in this film!  It also wasn’t that freaky, people were acting like this was the most scandalous thing they have seen since the book came out. Hahahaha. Obviously it was definitely a little awkies to watch with my mum and my sister. Wouldn’t recommend. Last thing to say. NELLY. WHAT. A. SNAKE. They literally could have been together :( Oop actually I’m not done. I know I said ignore the book but the only thing I didn’t like was how they downplayed Heathcliffs abuse towards Isabella and how much of a dickhead he actually is. 57/365
