Cure
incredible. Uncomfortable. Amusing. A terrifying dive into the vulnerability of one’s own mind.
Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Cure tells us the story of a detective investigating a series of murders seemingly unmotivated within a short time of one another. This leads him in a labyrinth of an abundance of questions but almost no answers that make him question every thing he has believed in to date. In the beginning you have a sense of pride of not falling into the mind games but by the midpoint you’re fully convinced you would’ve fallen victim as well.
The only thing I regret is waiting so long to watch it.
