Vertigo
Vertigo is one of those films that gets more uncomfortable the longer it goes on, but in a good way. At first it feels like a mystery about Madeleine but after a while you realize it’s really about how obsessed Scottie becomes.
The twist with Judy really surprised me. Suddenly everything makes more sense and you realize Scottie was being tricked the whole time.
That’s why the ending in the tower is so sad. Everything kind of repeats itself, but now Scottie finally understands what really happened.
