Keeping track of what movies made me cry. [@alyssawool](https://www.instagram.com/alyssawool?igsh=MWdlNHdqcWZobTBzdA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr)

Another romcom lost to not having a home on streaming! Didn’t cry.

Wasn’t gonna watch this bc thinking about my sister dying sends me into the kind of existential crisis that could put me out of commission for days. But Ash told me it was great and she has never steered me wrong and as always…she was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. It has everything I want in a romcom: •jokes were funny •leads were hot •2 Taylor Swift songs okayyyyyy •a montage that made me feel like I haven’t truly enjoyed a single moment of my life •an ending that made me cry •conflict that was relatively easy to resolve •A MAN RUNNING ON NEW YEAR’S EVE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME I just texted her “I feel like I’m gonna throw up bc this man isn’t in love w ME. That’s how you know it’s a good romcom.” Wow. Zoey Deutch honestly IS our Meg Ryan. I’m gonna buy those same white/red sambas.

I love this movie and I always will!!!! Didn’t cry.

I’m always shocked this isn’t mentioned more in the 00’s romcom conversation because it has SO many tropes: •grumpy x sunshine •enemies to lovers •forced proximity •only one bed •fake dating •wedding crashers •$$ vs true love It’s got it all!!! It even ends with Colbie Callait song. Who can resist that!!! Although I will say I’m currently rebuking the “all I need is a man who bullies me” energy. Even if he IS as hot as Matthew Goode. Didn’t cry.
