The Fallout

the depiction of how fragile talking about trauma can be was so so beautiful and now i’m left speechless but i will say this… this story as a whole is not something i can relate to however the feelings of numbness and the desire to adjust to a new normal were all too familiar. this was a coming of age movie at its core but it gave room to handle an extremely difficult topic with so much care and understanding. it was light hearted and had the peaceful sort of atmosphere of any good coming of age but i think what really stood out for me was the relationships between vada and the people in her life that were all so beautifully developed even in such a short amount of time this is one of my new favourite movies of all time and now i just have to sit with it for a while
