Inception

“The smallest seed of an idea can grow. It can grow to define or destroy you.” — Dom Cobb Holeeshit. The score by Hans Zimmer was incredible and gave me The Dark Knight vibes throughout. The plot was insane, yet somehow Nolan managed to make such a complicated concept feel completely engaging. Visually, this film is stunning too. I loved how time moved differently at each dream level. Knowing that every second in one level could mean minutes or hours in another made everything so much more intense and constantly raised the stakes. Furthermore, the cast was unbelievably stacked. Leonardo DiCaprio and Cillian Murphy were always going to be amazing, but everyone brought their “A-game”. Beneath all the mind-bending, there’s a tragic story about love, guilt and letting go. One of Nolan’s best and one of my favourite’s for sure !
