Proud to say Ryland Grace and I share the same bad taste in punny t-shirts

If you ignore the misogyny it’s pretty good! Love the little flashes of pure Aaron Sorkin.

I really, really enjoyed this. The cinematography is beautiful and so intentional: the fish eye lens on the nature shots, switching between wide angle distortion and neutral shots, color grading and lighting choices with each character, tilting the camera. Truly this is a story that was so heightened by the film-making itself; you can see that Soderbergh had a clear vision. The acting is great, but I truly think this is a prime example of a movie that best highlights its crew: it’s a good script with a good cast, but it’s really the lighting + photography + set design + editor + director team that earned a spotlight here.

Fairly awful. Good acting can’t save bad writing, directing, editing, and cinematography.
