"you run the risk of weeping a little if you let yourself get tamed" 🥹 near perfect film, went for a rewatch and so glad i did, wonderful story and just found out that hans zimmer scored this 👏 i think it's mainly the word building that brought me back to watch this movie again from when it first came out, i was just in love with the concept/exaggeration of the dystopian adult world and rewatching it has made me take note of more details that i missed, very liminal and structured and soulless. the colour palettes of the adult vs child ideas/structures created a great contrast and transition as the little girl grew more curious into discovering the story of the little prince.. and it's also intriguing to see a childs own interpretation of the original story! a lot of touching stuff surrounding connection and how you will never truely forget the people that matter most to you in your life, just as the little prince lost his rose, the sunsets that he spent his time watching with her will always allow him to remember her even though she's gone and will always keep him from forgetting and remaining a child at heart, even when he grows up. i don't think i will ever forget this movie and its message, will certainly stay with me for a long time ❤️

absoloutely loved the vibes and aesthetic feel to this movie, it executed scenes of frustration and longing so effectively.. especially loved how the beginning shot ties with the end and how love is displayed with the 2 hands on top of Tomeks, some powerful stuff the stalking was pretty weird tho.. don't know if the woman should've tolerated that bc i certainly wouldn't of.. joe goldberg vibes 💀 there was no use for her to cry over spilt milk!

everytime Tajomaru laughed it took me out of it 😭 some admirable shots in this movie that mimicked wes anderson style.. that’s pretty much all i have to say will need to rewatch at some point

oppie just wanted to take the sheets in :( some outstanding moments in this biopic, particularly the bright glow of the atomic bomb throughout different sequences, the build up towards the first bomb being set off was executed so effectively with the sound mixing (had me STRESSED).. (although the explosion itself was a bit underwhelming, could've maybe excused CGI in that case) and those visuals of quantum mechanics were beautiful.. i just don't think i could properly lock in for 3 hours 😫 such an impactful ending, when the whole point of the bombings was to stop the war it only fueled the beginning of atomic weapons that now hold the capacity to destroy the earth multiple times maybe i should’ve watched this over barbie when it came out 😭 very good nolan 👏👏
