I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon seeing the 4k restoration of Brazil at The Portland Art Museum. This was my first viewing of the film and I was captivated from beginning to end. Jonathan Pryce is so damn good in this. And the sets are incredible. I’m also very much looking forward to whatever film I see next at the Witsell Auditorium. They curated a very enjoyable viewing.

Attended a packed showing at Living Room Theaters in Downtown Portland. Basically trauma bonded with everyone in the room. Mostly speechless after this. Beautiful and devastating on a massive scale.

I was afforded the opportunity to catch the new 4k restoration in theaters as my first-time viewing. Top-notch action violence! John Woo is the man. The settings and details are what make this movie especially appealing to me.

Congrats to Ryan Coogler and the entire team for their 16 Academy award nominations today. Making history! Had to show this one to my pops tonight. Every scene is so masterful. Third time’s a charm!
