Candyman

now THIS IS CANDYMAN this is the story the 3rd tried to tell, the generational pain, the legacy of hurt, and it is coming from the right voice this time. the cinematography too, this movie was beautifully done and the use of puppetry is so unique and well implemented as well as just genuinely gorgeous. PLUS!!! HEELLLLEEENNN !!!!!! within the first 5 minutes of this i knew this was gonna be done right and it was. the follow through ive been expecting from the second and third movie is here and i am so SO GLAD TO SEE IT. i wish i had to words to gush about it more but the multiple candymans... candymen? are everything i needed and more, they carry the story and the symbolism and just ugh loved it and i have yet to be let down by a monkeypaw production so i cannot be surprised
