American Psycho

I feel that not enough people talk about the American part of Patrick Bateman's character. I find that the evil this character exbitis is uniquely American with the way he uses his status and privilege to enable his psychosis, his need to conquer, and maintaining his total indifference to the violence enacted. The final shot and narration explains his character exactly. - Patrick Bateman unfortunately has great taste in music :(
