Babylon
How is it that such a horrible business can create such beautiful things? How can movies, that can lift your spirits and make you dream, come from a soul-sucking machine? Well, I'm just glad that at least we get something fantastic and long-lasting out of it.
Also, how are people hating on this film? This is a work of art. I was crying along with Manny in the end. It hit me like a truck all the similarities to Singing in the Rain and how they were pretty much making fun of his friends. Damien Chazelle, you have done it again, fantastic job.
