Hamnet
So touching. At the beginning we do not understand where the film is going. Their whole relationship happens very fast to reach the moment when the story really begins with this tragic death. It made many people cry including me. The fact that William Shakespeare wanted to die so in his play he killed himself and became a ghost and he brought his son back to life in his play. There were many striking poetic lines that I could not write down because I was in the movie theater so I need to see it again. The performance of Jessie Buckley (I had seen her in I’m Thinking of Ending Things and I thought she was very good) but in this film she was touching and very precise in her acting so it is not surprising that she won the Golden Globes for best actress and Paul Mescal (I have already seen many things with him he is fabulous in Aftersun one of my favorite films All of Us Strangers and Normal People) he once again proved that he is a great actor. The children also act very well. All this theme of childhood which is very precious and that living is not trivial and that death can take us at any moment and our loved ones too so let us enjoy.
