Fallen Angels
MY FAVOURITE WONG KAR-WAI MOVIE SINCE NOW AND FOREVER!
when everything was going well, so happy and fun but wong chi-ming gets shot. omfg. and the next scene is ho chi-mo tidying up the room and folding clothes with cute music in the background for him to say that he was doing all that because his father had died. after the scene of him videotaping his father cooking, in the bathroom and sleeping next to him. i am so sad.
i just don't know how to put it into words, but everything was perfect, like, the dialogues, the characters, the backgroud stories, the cinematography. everything. wong chi-ming wanting to escape from his violent lifestyle while his agent wished the contrary cause they had established a sentimental relationship between them. then, ho chi-mo behaving childishly because of his dad and coming across charlie, who wants to avenge the fact that a prostitute "took away her man", and falling in love with her in the mean time.
after these two storylines had ended badly, they merged into one and the movie ends with the scene of the poster, the agent being given a ride by ho chi-mo on his motorcycle after a well-hoped spark between them. AAAAAAAAAAA
i've loved it. i love it. i will love it until the end of my days. yes.
"but as it turned out, my expiration date came up first"
