Parasite

One of the darkest turns I’ve seen in a film! Here are my spoiler-free thoughts on “Parasite” Like I said, this film turned real dark real quick. I wouldn’t argue with someone if they said the first half could be considered a part comedy, but that second half was something else.  I personally love when films fake you out like this. The plot twists were insane, and the tone changed so quickly and I think it was for the best. Part of why I gave this film 5 stars is because of the second half.  The way they slowly shape every element needed for the rest of the film so smoothly was brilliant. They also did a great job using dark comedy and satire to show the very different lives of the rich family and the poor family. The ending was great and I don’t have anything bad to say about this film. Everything second of this film was perfect. I’m going to give “Parasite” 5/5 stars. My favorite international film I’ve ever seen!
