*Uncut Gems *still hits on a rewatch, and honestly it’s not surprising at all. Over two hours that leaves you on the edge of your seat from the moment Howard gets the rock, and never has you relaxed until the credits. It’s difficult to keep an audience entertained for every second of a film, but *Uncut Gems *does exactly that. And I think Josh Safdie does the same thing in *Marty Supreme*, which I believe to be a stronger film. And that’s saying something because *Uncut Gems *is incredible in its own right.

My goodness, it’s still perfect upon a rewatch. Finally got to show my mom this mob masterpiece from Martin Scorsese. She loves *The Godfather*, *Goodfellas*, *Casino*, so it’s no surprise she also loved *The Departed *as well. It’s also a fun film to rewatch when you’re trying to find all of the “X”’s that Scorsese sprinkles throughout the film.
