Arrival
There’s not a single director that can make a film so beautiful but so heart-breaking like Villeneuve can. The way he can tie the perfect knot on a film and leave you so fascinated but also so gut-punched is unmatched. And man, Amy Adams is incredible in this.
Villeneuve is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors. It’s hard to say much about Arrival without spoiling it. Very intellectually and emotionally challenging. I cannot wait to rewatch it. I am also dreading it.
