ARMY DREAMERS IS THEIR SONG 🎖️🚧
“If war really broke out, would we have to shoot each other too?”
That line shot me already! Maybe I’m too idealistic, but I want to believe that a friendship like this could really bloom on the frontlines of the DMZ…how wholesome it would be if it truly existed ♥︎
Like in many military stories, these men were fighting a war they didn't start against people they had never hated. It’s heartbreaking to think about. What I loved most is how the film shows that genuine connection can still exist, even across the most rigid of borders. They were all so charming, so down-to-earth. I loved how easily they bonded. The jokes, the little moments, the way they tried so hard to make the friendship work… it all showed how simple peace could be, if we just let it.
In the end, difficult situations always seem to amount to nothing, especially when the truth gets buried beneath each side’s version of peace.
“Your shadow is over the line. Watch it!”
What a lovely, ridiculous boys they were!
