Devilman Crybaby

i liked the overall metaphorical themes throughout the show, and the imagery that went alongside that. otherwise i didn’t find the animation to be too great, which was a let down because originally i expected it to be a bit better, this excludes the last two episodes  personally, i don’t really know what the meaning is necessarily meant to be, if there even is one, but i’m sure other people have far better takes than i would why so much sexual imagery of women but no dicks the equality is BAD and a bit too horny even for me at times. like literally what was the point of that one woman hooked to a machine squirting jizz out of her tits and clit at the end?  the characterisation of the main two characters was great but i didn’t rly care about anyone else.  granted it’s a short form show so i can’t fault the fact that it had to write all of these people into such a short condition, but the emotional scenes weren’t that impactful for me until the end. definitely watched shows with worse side characters though and they didn’t interrupt the overall storyline - just made it feel initially quite slow at the beginning
