disturbing and disgusting but wasn't really scary. it started really strong but fell off as it went on and became your typical "alien, creature" type of movie. ending was solid though

the plot, the depth, the consequences, the suspense, the visuals; what an absolutely, amazing film. easily the best of the franchise.

psychological horror, toxic masculinity, privilege, identity crisis to name a few; amazing how this film can be viewed from different angles and have various representations. regret not watching it sooner

1. samara slowly becoming my fav actress 2. kathryn making the movie a whole lot better 3. sarah mg still has freaking got it totally campy, absurd and ridiculous; exactly my kind of movie
