ana de armas with a great performance, not an easy one. this true story is a hard watch, especially when at the end it says "22 people will die today because there arw not enough organ donors". we don't really know how lucky we are. Lists (movies ranked) [Ana de Armas](https://boxd.it/QoFqc)

As much as I liked this film, I have to say there were some things I didn’t really enjoy, but let’s start with the positives. John Williams’ score and the cinematography are both great; they fully immerse you in the movie’s atmosphere. The actors were good too, and the fact that this is one of the first movies, if not the first, to portray aliens as not necessarily evil creatures is innovative. It definitely paved the way for many other films, such as E.T. Moving on to the negatives, I couldn’t stand some of the characters’ behavior. SPOILERS I know the protagonist was obsessed and desperate to know the truth, but he was way too extreme. His wife’s reaction also frustrated me. Something clearly happened to him, and even if you don’t fully believe him, you can still tell he went through something. Also, him kissing the other woman (the mother of the child) was really weird, wth...

De Niro plays his role really well. Him being Lucifer was pretty obvious, while instead the other twist caught me off guard, especially the whole thing with the girl (his daughter) reminded me of another movie (I won’t say which to avoid spoilers, but if you know, you know). The elevator, descending throughout the film, bringing him down to hell is a great metaphor and probably my favorite part symbolically. I wasn’t flabbergasted, but I really liked the vibe and atmosphere of the movie. I got a thing about chickens! Lista (movies ranked) [Robert De Niro](https://boxd.it/UsQBE)

The jumpscare got me lol. Slow but good plot. It shows how the same information can be interpreted in completely different ways depending on your mindset. Paranoia slowly distorts reality until you can’t trust what you hear or see anymore, which makes it so dangerous. Harry listens to everyone but is completely isolated himself; he doesn’t want anyone to know anything about him, while his job is trying to know everything about others… how ironic.
